The Lincoln Financial Foundation “Lincoln Collection In Indiana” research collection, housed at Allen County Public Library, is an incomparable repository and resource for information on the life and legacy of Abraham Lincoln.  The collection is used by authors, scholars, TV producers, educators, students, Lincoln enthusiasts, and the general public, and is often cited as a source of information and visual images.  Now the more than twenty thousand books and pamphlets, the thousands of photographs, the Lincoln scholarship, the extensive genealogical collections on the Hanks and Lincoln families, and the Lincoln-related documents, including many written or signed by Lincoln, are being digitized.  Though the project will take a number of years, the beginnings of this digital initiative are linked here.
